Charge Policy

Child Nutrition Department Charge Policy 2024-2025

Sanger ISD Child Nutrition Department makes it a priority to ensure all students have access to nutritious meals daily. Students have the ability to charge the reimbursable meal to their account if they do not have the funds to pay for the reimbursable meal at the time of service. It is the responsibility of the parents to manage their students accounts and pay off debts within a timely manner.

Students may charge 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches, totaling $26.25 for primary students and $27.25 for secondary students at the full pay price. The charge limit for Reduced pay students is $2.00. The Child Nutrition Department will make a focused effort to communicate with families to collect the debt before reaching the cap. Payments can be made by sending cash or check with your student.

Payments may also be made online utilizing School Cafe, which also allows families to monitor their students account. Guardians are encouraged to download the app.

Charging is not permitted for snacks and extras.

Although the Sanger Independent School District does not serve peanut products at any Elementary or Intermediate Schools, many of the processed foods served in our cafeterias are manufactured in plants where peanut and tree nut products are processed.

We cannot guarantee that foods served at any of our schools have not been in contact with peanuts or tree nuts.
