It is the mission of Sanger Independent School District to create a learning community that engages, challenges, and inspires all students. Within that, the Environmental Services Department staff feel it is our mission “To help create an environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.”
To realize our mission, our vision must be to exceed the expectations of students, parents, guests, teachers, staff, administration, and fellow employees. We will accomplish this by committing to shared values and by achieving the highest level of satisfaction with a strong emphasis on the creation of partnerships and teamwork.
Our goal is to provide a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining facilities at the highest standard possible with great pride taken in the jobs we do.
We are a strong group of 31 full time, 2 part time, and multiple substitute employees who have numerous years invested in the district. In all we maintain 7 campuses and 8 auxiliary buildings totaling over 3 million square feet. As Environmental Director, I am very proud of the SISD Environmental Services Team. They work extremely hard all year round, especially during school closings and the summer months. Those are the times to concentrate on deep cleaning, moving furniture, stripping and resurfacing floors to bring the sparkle back and make the buildings a great place for learning.
