Enrollment Information

Online Registration is open for 2018-2019

New and Returning 1st – 12th Grade students to the District

NOTE: Local required forms must be printed from the online registration system (txConnect) and brought to the campus along with proof of Residency and a photo ID (Drivers License or State ID). The dates for in-person registration have been posted on the District Website Calendar as well as each school's website calendar. If you are able to print these forms and bring them with you, that will speed up your registration. If you cannot print them, we can print them at the campuses when you come in on the registration dates on the calendar.

Enroll a New Student in the District:

The online student Enrollment page allows you to go through the steps required to enroll a new student online using forms provided by the district, and then request a student registration key, which will allow you to complete the online enrollment process. You must have a valid email address to start this process.  If you need assistance, step by step instructions can be found by clicking this link.

After Monday, June 25, access this page:

  • If you do not yet have a txConnect account, click the Have a New Student link on the login page, and create an account.

 

Returning Student Registration, you can register your student online after June 25:

  • At the beginning of every school year, student data must be updated and annual forms completed.
  • To complete school year registration forms you MUST have txConnect Parent Portal Account.
  • If you have a txConnect Parent Portal account and your student(s) has/have been added to your account, click on My Account tab in the Parent Portal.
  1. Verify your email address on the My Account Tab by clicking on “Edit Settings for my txConnect Students” Remember you MUST have your email address on file at your student’s campus. You may be asked to verify your email by entering a registration key that will be sent to your email address.
  2. After entering the registration key, click verify code, then click on the “Edit Settings for My txConnect Students”. You should then see that your student is registered to your account.
  3. Click on My Account tab in txConnect Parent Portal, Click the blue “Edit” icon for the student for whom you want to view or update registration information. The student information page for your student is displayed.  The blue “Edit” icon is only displayed if your email address is registered for the student. If the blue “Edit” icon is not displayed for your student, Please contact your campus registrar to have your email address added to the system.
  4. The student information for students name page (Where student Name is your Student’s name) allows you to access forms for the student online registration. You can only access the page if you are the student’s parent/guardian and you have successfully registered your email address to the student.

The displayed information is provided by the district. It may consist of local required forms, student data forms, and state required forms

After printing, please bring the printed documents along with the following required items to the designated registration time and place for your child’s campus.

Items to Bring (New Students):

  • Local required forms printed out from online registration
  • Parent Identification (Valid Photo ID; Driver's license, Passport, Permanent Resident Card or Naturalization Papers)
  • Student's Immunization Record
  • Student's last report card, if available
  • Proof of Residency – utility bill (electric, gas, or water); lease agreement; closing documents on a home; tax or mortgage statement on a home, or a notarized letter stating that the family is living with a Sanger ISD resident along with that resident’s proof of residency.
  • 2 forms of ID – These will need to be from the following list: original birth certificate; driver’s license; passport; report card from the previous school; Social Security card; Military ID; hospital birth record; adoption records; shot records; Foster Care form 2085

 

Items to Bring (Returning Students):

  • Local required forms printed out from online registration
  • Parent Identification (Valid Photo ID; Driver's license, Passport, Permanent Resident Card or Naturalization Papers)
  • Proof of Residency – utility bill (most current bill is required: credit card & cell phone bills, & driver’s license not accepted); lease agreement; closing documents on a home; tax or mortgage statement on a home, or a notarized letter stating that the family is living with a Sanger ISD resident along with that resident’s proof of residency.
