Will students attend school at campuses in the 2020-2021 school year?
Sanger ISD intends to hold classes in schools, and an online learning option will be available for those who prefer. More details are provided on the pages linked to the left.
 
Will the 2020-2021 school year use a modified, year-round calendar?
At this time, our district intends to use the approved calendar that was approved by the school board on July 13, 2020.  While we have chosen a later start date, we have extended the school day by ten minutes and made some staff development days instructional days so that the school year will end prior to Memorial Day.  You can access the calendar by clicking the link on the left.
 
Will extracurricular activities resume in the 2020-2021 school year?
We do not have official guidance from UIL, TEA, or the state at this time. We will update this information once clear guidelines have been provided.
 
I need to enroll my child, but buildings are closed. What do I do?
Families can enroll their children through an online process which is detailed at https://www.sangerisd.net/apps/pages/enrollment. We are encouraging online enrollment to support the county's orders.  If you are a returning student and do not have access to a smartphone or computer, you can contact michelle.bynum@sangerisd.net to set an appointment.  If you are a new student and do not have access to a smartphone or a computer, we will have more information on who to contact as campus personnel return to work.
 
My child needs a transcript. Where can he or she request one?

My child needs a Verification of Enrollment document to take to the DMV. Where can I get one?
The state of Texas has currently waived the requirement for Verification of Enrollment documents. These documents are not currently needed.
 
I'm not receiving emails from the district, what should I do?
First, please check your junk or spam folder as well as any other auto-sorting folder (such as Gmail's "social" folder for newsletters).  If you don't find them there, contact us by clicking here.
 
I do not have a device for my child but want to do online learning.  Can I get one from the school?
Yes.  Sanger ISD will provide a device to those who do not have one.  We are also in the process of purchasing hotspots for those who do not have internet access.  You can make the request when completing the survey; if your child needs to switch to online learning, you will discuss that with your campus administrator or counselor at the required Online Learning Launch Meeting.
