You Matter Here
You may have seen the words "You Matter Here" throughout your child's campus as back to school activities have resumed.
And we want you to know just what we mean when we say You Matter Here!
For a long time, educators have known that in order for students to succeed their physiological needs, like access to food, must be met before learning can take place. But at Sanger ISD, we know that their mental well being is just as important.
Beginning this school year, we are putting a new focus on mental health by helping students and staff feel heard, feel seen, and feel safe.
With a renewed focus on mental health, we aim to dig to the root of the causes of bullying with the hope to put an end to bullying on our campuses and provide the help our students need to be their best selves.
And you can help us show our tribe that they matter.
Beginning in August, the last Monday of every month will be You Matter Monday. Join us in our efforts by wearing your YOU MATTER HERE shirt to help end the stigmas associated with mental health.
