Honorees may be nominated in one of the following categories:
1. Student Alumni
2. Retired Staff
3. Community Member
1. Student Alumni
Nominees must:
1. Have graduated from Sanger ISD 15 or more years ago.
2. Have made significant contributions to the community, state, nation, or world through service, leadership, or charitable works.
3. Have achieved outstanding success in one or more areas, such as:
○ Business
○ Athletics
○ Academics
○ Education
○ The Arts
○ Humanitarian Efforts
○ Community Service
○ Other notable endeavors
4. Serve as a role model that current and future Sanger ISD students can look up to and emulate.
2. Retired Staff
Nominees must:
1. Have retired or left Sanger ISD five or more years prior to nomination.
2. Have served as a teacher or administrator for 15 years or more within Sanger ISD.
○ This award may be given posthumously.
3. Have made significant contributions that benefited Sanger ISD, its staff, and/or students.
4. Have exhibited leadership, character, and service that inspire others.
5. Be recognized as a positive role model—a person of character and uncommon dedication who consistently went above and beyond to assist students, staff, and/or parents.
3. Community Members
Nominees must:
1. Be individuals who may or may not have graduated from Sanger ISD, but who have made a significant contribution that has helped make Sanger ISD a better place for children.
2. Be recognized as a patron, benefactor, or leader who has contributed to Sanger ISD or the community in an exemplary manner.
○ This award may be given posthumously.
3. Demonstrate leadership, character, and service, serving as a positive role model for both community members and Sanger ISD students.
