TEA A-F Accountability Ratings
TEA A-F Accountability Ratings
Each year, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) rates school districts and campuses using the A–F Accountability system. These ratings measure how well schools are helping students learn, grow, and prepare for the future.
Ratings are based on three main areas:
-
Student Achievement: How well students perform on state assessments, graduation rates, and college, career, and military readiness.
-
School Progress: How much students improve academically year over year and how our district compares to similar schools.
-
Closing the Gaps: How well schools support all student groups, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Each area is scored and combined to give an overall letter grade (A–F) for both the district and individual campuses. These ratings help schools celebrate strengths and identify areas for growth, so we can continue improving learning for all students.
