    AG had a great weekend at the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo with lots of our members exhibiting animals and participating in judging contests. Please congratulate the following students for representing the Sanger FFA with great sportsmanship and class.

    Jr. Market Goat Show (over 60 goats in each class)
    13th Place - Addison Kates (3rd Grade)
    15th Place - Shelby Norman (11th Grade)
    15th Place - Jill Reding (6th Grade)
    18th Place - Augie Reding (7th Grade)

    Jr. Market Lamb Show (over 70 sheep in each class)

    Meats Evaluation Contest
    The Meats Evaluation Team placed 11th out of 35 teams. Tatum Whitewood was named the 4th High Individual in the entire contest with 116 individuals competing. The Sanger FFA Meats Evaluation team consisted of Bryson Bassinger (10th Grade), Autumn Kirksey (10th Grade), Tyler Watts (9th Grade), Kielee Whitewood (8th Grade), Tatum Whitewood (10th Grade), and David Wright (10th Grade).

  • Bryson Bassinger

    Bryson Bassinger participated in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble where he caught a calf and haltered it, and dragged it to the center of the rodeo arena. He was presented with a $500 scramble certificate for the purchase of a heifer, and is now eligible for a $4,000, $6,000, or $12,000 scholarship.
